Our Youth, FAYM Speeches Video 4
WORK TIME: Approx. 2 hrs
FINAL PROJECT TIME: 8min. 45sec.
CAMERA: Sony HDR-UX10
EDITED WITH: Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0 (on Dell XPS420 with 4GB RAM)
The role of our Muslim youth in the community. Another in the series of short talks given by representatives of FAYM (Florida Association of Young Muslims) around the community at different masaajid. This talk was given by Raa’id Khan on September 12, 2009.
SET-UP:
One man. One tripod. One camera.
Alhamdulillah this series of speeches have had some pretty good set ups, meaning that there was a podium and some type of interesting backdrop. They made for some great shots.
EDITING:
Same trend is being followed. Switching between the b-roll shots and a zoomed-in shot. Though, this time, I also used the neat video plugin that I’d used with Arif’s speech at Nur Ul Islam to eliminate some of the grain and noise. Though, the zoomed-in shot does still have some traces of it…
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Only thing to say is Alhamdulillah. The only thing I regretted was the turnaround time in releasing this. School began to busy me as well as Ramadan, so it took me a few days to finally release this.
YOUR FINAL THOUGHTS:
Say something, leave a comment, this is the part of the blog where you get to blog about your thoughts.
