Where am I now?

This past weekend was pretty busy. I got to attend my first YM event, the Young Muslims winter retreat up in Apopka, Florida. I went up a little late, but Alhamdulillah, my brother and I had a lot of fun. And, I got to meet a great brother (Kaiser Aslam) from Chicago (who was told to meet me via the Young Muslims twitter account, gotta love Twitter!).

So, if you’re a die-hard fan of this blog and you follow it ever second then you’ll be wondering:

Where’s the video?

Well, I was able to get some footage at the camp, however, I used my sister’s digital camera for most of it. I began to wonder why I didn’t use her camera more often; it seems to have better quality. About half hour ago I remembered why. It records in .MOV files which don’t lik

e to fly with my Sony Vegas program.

I didn’t get to realize it sooner because I’ve spent the day editing FAYM’s Conductor’s Training seminar for their STAR Program. I got to make a DVD, and trying to condense it to fit on 2 of them…just saw in the other window and error too, gotta go fix it after writing this.

So, I guess you can call this one a Plog, cuz I’ll feature a few photos from the camp (and you can click any of them to see the Facebook Photo Album), and I’ll see on YouTube for Vlog 5, I’ll try to make a photo-type-short-video and post it up here when I get a chance InshaAllah.
