The Internship
So, it’s been a while since I’ve been able to actively work on my website.
Here’s what I’ve been up to:
- Applying for a program called College Academy where I’d spend my last two years of high school earning an associate’s degree.
- Accepted and began as an intern at Leechon Films.
So, I don’t know if brother Belal has enforced it yet, but part of the internship is that we have to maintain a daily blog. Because I probably won’t get time to put amazing quality into the posts everyday, I won’t be blogging here. I’ll be over at LeechonIntern.tumblr.com . That’s more of a micro-blogging platform, so it doesn’t require long, drawn out, and planned posts. Just the doings of the day.
And I truly have been affected by this internship every day. Whether it be something I remembered or I’d actually used.
So, for the details of the Internship, you can follow me on there (which’ll probably show up on Twitter and Facebook). Occasionally, I’ll post it on here, and link/re-post it on there, and sometimes, I’ll re-post it here.
Hmm, just follow twitter for everything I do.
In addition to the above, I was able to “launch” the social media campaign for FAYM (the Florida Association of Young Muslims). I launched a new facebook page (and slowly am phasing out of having a facebook group), which can be found at facebook.com/FAYMbook , and that links up with the twitter account, twitter.com/FAYMtwit, and that also is linked to the YouTube account, youtube.com/FAYMtube.
So, I also began to edit some old footage I found in my files (yay for sick day, there’s so much time wasted at school).
Here’s a video from the FAYM Brothers Outdoor Camp. It was already half-edited, so I just input some more footage and uploaded it. However, in my next post, I’ll show a much better-edited video.
Feedback? Check out the new internship blog, the first post will be up shortly.
