FAYM, Leechon, & Life

The main things that have been going on in my life for the past few weeks:

  1. Following through the Leechon Internship tasks and assignments as well as the sessions.
  2. Attending a FAYM Brothers Camp (for “older” brothers) this past weekend, and swimming through all the footage (from the past camp, as well as the sisters camp held the weekend before). Trying to get it all up on our social media sites for everyone to view in a timely manner.

I’ve been trying to reassess some things in my life and see what will produce the greatest amount of results for me so I can focus on them. Still figuring that out.

For now, enjoy this pilot episode for Sameer’s Eats, one of the upcoming very professional productions from Hilal Spark. I really like these guys, creating a whole new Muslim media.

  • Ahmed
Nice. Something that I have always wanted to know.. Halal Food in US.
  • Yeah, if you also check out http://zabihah.com , they have a great directory of Halal Restaurants (with reviews and everything) as well as a whole bunch of other Muslim establishments (Masjids, community centers, etc.). Definitely a good resource.

but if you sign up for the sameer's eats email list on their site, you should be in for a lot more treats like the video above.

Thanks for reading. Always appreciated Br. Ahmed. :)
  • Jawaad,

We really appreciate the kind words and are glad you enjoyed the first episode of Sameer's Eats.

Looking forward to some of your new/upcoming work - especially after the Leechon internship. :)
  • Jazakallhu Khair for the work you guys do as well. I honestly believe you guys are role models for true Muslim creatives thriving in the industry.
